A key pillar of Good Chaos centers on expanding economic opportunities for communities historically denied access to traditional funding sources.

Central to building and sustaining local communities are community banks, CDFIs, and credit unions. Small businesses rely on these institutions for banking services, working capital and expansion loans, and overall access to a variety of capital solutions. For these banks to continue making sustainable loans, they need a strong deposit base.
Good Chaos is committed to an asset management strategy that places meaningful deposits across Chicago and communities throughout the United States. These funds deploy to local small businesses and catalyze local economies. We are honored to support First Women’s Bank and Self-Help Credit Union with our direct deposit funds. We are also thrilled with our partnership with CNote, a platform which helped us to facilitate impact deposits into over 30 community banks serving Chicago, rural communities, and many underserved markets across the country.
